How you’ll be hosting with heart:
* Act as a trusted advisor to Product, Business, and Leadership, proactively identifying opportunities where data can drive growth and better decisions
* Define and own core business and product KPIs, ensuring consistent definitions across the organization
* Lead complex analytics projects end-to-end : from problem framing to data modeling, analysis, and stakeholder communication
* Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical approaches and scalable data solutions
* Design and build scalable data models and high-quality dashboards to enable self-service analytics
* Deep dive into product and business performance (funnels, KPIs, cohorts) to generate actionable insights
* Build and optimize advanced SQL queries and data pipelines (e.g., in BigQuery or similar DWs)
* Partner closely with Data Engineering on data architecture, data quality, and performance optimization
* Drive improvements in data governance, quality, and metric consistency across teams
* Evaluate and introduce next-generation BI and analytics solutions (e.g., AI/LLM-based tools)
* Contribute to shaping the overall BI strategy (tooling, governance, best practices)
* Mentor junior analysts and help raise the analytics bar across the organization
What you need to shoot for the stars:
* 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Product Analytics, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment
* Advanced expertise in SQL (complex joins, window functions, query optimization, performance tuning)
* Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, or modeling
* Solid experience in data modeling (e.g., star schema, fact/dimension tables, metric layer design)
* Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Looker Studio
* Strong understanding of product and business analytics concepts (funnels, KPIs, experimentation, cohort analysis)
* Experience working with modern data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery or similar)
* Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML applications in analytics
