We are seeking an innovative and meticulous Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d) to optimize our production processes and ensure the highest quality products are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills, an ability to communicate across all levels, sound project management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement methodologies.
Your Tasks:
1. Process design and optimization: Developing the most efficient methods for converting raw materials into finished products, including assembly line planning and calculating labor times.
2. Equipment and automation: Selection, design and implementation of machines and robotic systems for production.
3. Quality and cost control: Implementation of procedures and systems to ensure high product quality while reducing costs.
4. Collaboration and training: Collaborate with Engineering, production teams, and other departments to share ideas and train employees in new and existing processes.
5. Logistics and Supply Chain: Understanding the broader aspects of the value chain, from initial design to final delivery.
6. Continuous improvement: Monitoring and maintaining manufacturing systems to achieve continuous improvement.

7. Technical knowledge: Expertise in engineering principles, materials and production technologies.
8. Problem solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical, innovative solutions.
9. Project management: Competencies in project management, from planning and implementation to lifecycle management.

Preferred Education and Experience:
12. Completed degree (university, university of applied sciences) in engineering.
13. Ability to collaborate across functions
14. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
15. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
16. Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
17. Commercially and financially aware.
18. Background in manufacturing and/or engineering environment.
19. Background in project management.
20. Knowledge of ERP system, preferred SAP including production modules.
