What You'll Do As a Cybersecurity Account Executive within Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO), you will be the driving force accelerating Cisco's Security business across Germany's public sector. Your mission is to energetically capture new opportunities and expand Cisco's footprint by delivering unparalleled value and expertise. * Drive New Business Relentlessly: Proactively identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities with both existing and prospective customers, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and revenue acceleration. * Qualify and Prioritize with Precision: Employ the MEDDPICC methodology rigorously to qualify opportunities and focus your efforts on the highest-impact deals, working autonomously or collaboratively with account teams. * Strategic Territory Planning: Craft and implement comprehensive, data-driven sales plans tailored to your customers / customers territory, aligning with Cisco's broader security objectives. * End-to-End Sales Leadership: Be responsible for the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, consistently delivering new revenue streams and exceeding targets. Lead Collaborative Campaigns: Orchestrate high-impact security sales campaigns in partnership with Cisco field and channel teams, targeting key public sector prospects. * Master Proposal Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and RFI/RFP responses that win business. * Demonstrate Technical Mastery: Develop deep expertise in Cisco's security portfolio-including Universal ZTNA, hybrid mesh firewall, XDR, Identity intelligence & AI Defense-and articulate clear, differentiated value propositions employing the Cisco X-Arc end-to-end platform strategy. * Communicate with Impact: Deliver persuasive, executive-level presentations that resonate with customers and influence decision-making. * Forecast with Accuracy: Provide reliable, data-backed product bookings forecasts and maintain meticulous sales activity records to inform management decisions. Operational excellence is the key to success. * Negotiate to Win: Drive business results through skilled negotiation, building and sustaining strong, long-term customer relationships. * Leverage the Partner Ecosystem: Engage and empower Cisco's partner network, collaborating closely with partner sales teams to amplify new business opportunities. * Represent Cisco Authoritatively: Act as a visible and credible Cisco ambassador at industry forums, tradeshows, and events, elevating Cisco's security leadership. Who You Are: * Passionate about cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and sales, with a consultative approach and a customer-centric mentality. * Excel at uncovering opportunities, delivering technical presentations, and closing deals. * Shown experience selling security architectures and solutions, including content/email/web security, DLP, VPN, IPS/IDS, NextGen Firewalls, MFA, XDR/SOAR, Universal Zero Trust, hybrid mesh firewall, and AI Defense across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. * Possess deep knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape and competitive positioning. * Have an established network and a track record of achieving sales targets in the security space. * Fluency in both English and German is required.
