The Service Operations Development team is part of the Service Central region, which is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of wind farms throughout the DACH Region. We are a team of interdisciplinary experts and pursue the goal of ensuring continuous improvement and supporting the implementation of the service strategy. In this role you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and work together with senior management, regional stakeholders and other project managers to ensure the project execution following the agreed goals and quality standards of Vestas.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and supervise the implementation of regional projects such as improvement, efficiency, and cost-out initiatives in the Service Onshore Central organization
2. Facilitate scoping and work breakdown of projects; develop and establish project timelines and action plans to ensure internal targets are met
3. Manage execution according to project plan in close collaboration with the Service Areas; organize and control project stages
4. Report on project progress, project control plan milestones, project metrics, challenges, and risks through monthly project reports
5. Manage project stakeholders inside and outside the Service Onshore Central organization
6. Support the implementation of new processes and procedures in Vestas project management
Qualifications
7. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent education
8. 3+ years of work experience in a project environment and matrix organization
9. Fluent in English and German
10. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
11. Project management certificate is highly valued
Competencies
12. Proficient project management skills with the ability to lead complex improvement projects across the organization
13. Good time management and strong organizational skills needed to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
14. Ability to communicate in a clear and structured way, both written and verbally
15. Collaborative team-oriented person

Additional Information
The position reports directly to Senior Manager Operational Development Central and can be located in Hamburg, Berlin or Husum in Germany.
