Senior Buyer for Subcontractor Services (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
1. Manage nationwide procurement of subcontractor services for projects, primarily in electrical installation and MSR technology.
2. Lead tender processes, prepare price comparisons, negotiate, and execute procurement activities in compliance with corporate and customer requirements.
3. Analyze specifications and bills of quantities.
4. Coordinate project-specific customer requirements with project teams.
5. Develop and expand our subcontractor portfolio.
6. Optimize procurement processes and conduct best practice analyses.
7. Ensure achievement and communication of purchasing results.
8. Handle operational processing of purchase requisitions in relevant procurement systems.
9. Prepare purchasing-related analyses and reports.
How You Will Make an Impact
As a Senior Buyer for Subcontractor Services, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects. With strategic foresight and strong negotiation skills, you will manage the entire procurement process—from tendering to contract negotiation. Working closely with project teams, you will translate customer requirements into efficient procurement solutions while ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards. Your analytical mindset and commitment will drive the development of our subcontractor portfolio and the continuous improvement of our procurement processes.
Your Qualifications
10. Completed technical or commercial degree, or equivalent qualification.
11. Several years of experience in strategic/technical purchasing, particularly in awarding services/subcontractors.
12. Basic knowledge of procurement and contract law (VOB/B).
13. Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and analytical abilities.
14. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
15. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
16. High level of commitment and ability to work independently.
17. Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
