We design, implement, and operate modern HR technologies that enable seamless manager and employee self-service, efficient processes, and scalable global operations. Working closely with People Services, IT, Data Privacy, and Cyber Security, we drive the digital and AI transformation of HR at GEA.

Your responsibilities
1. Identify automation opportunities across HR processes and translate them into robust workflow and RPA solutions.
2. Develop, test, and maintain automation workflows using e.g. Workday Iluminate, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
3. Optimize automations and integrations between Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, and Microsoft tools to reduce manual steps and drive accuracy.
4. Manage multiple automation requests and projects across the full lifecycle — from concept and design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
5. Engage with HR stakeholders to understand process needs and provide guidance on automation best practices and simplification.
6. Ensure automation solutions meet enterprise standards for security, stability, and compliance.
7. Collaborate closely with internal and external developers, IT integration teams, and People AI Solutions Architects to enable seamless cross-platform workflows.
8. Document workflow logic, interfaces, test cases, and operational procedures.
9. Contribute to the automation roadmap, help define priorities, and ensure proper resource alignment.
10. Promote harmonization and standardization of automation approaches across People Services & AI.
Your Profile / Qualifications
11. University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, HR Technology, Computer Science, or similar.
12. Several years of hands-on experience in automation and RPA development, ideally with Workday Iluminate, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, and/or ServiceNow Flow Designer
13. Strong understanding of HR processes and experience working with HR platforms such as Workday or ServiceNow HRSD.
14. Proven experience implementing or optimizing cross-functional HR automations.
15. Good understanding of APIs, connectors, authentication methods, and enterprise integration patterns.
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex processes.
17. Ability to translate business needs into structured automation concepts and designs.
18. Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical automation topics to non-technical stakeholders.
19. Self-driven, with a sense of urgency and ownership to deliver high-quality outcomes.
20. Fluency in English required; German is an advantage.
