Our client is part of a leading digital group and is building a modern mobile banking platform with the goal of setting new standards in mobile banking. To support this growth, our client is looking for a Team Lead PHP Software Development who is motivated to actively contribute to the further development of a digital banking platform.
This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for modern software development who enjoy a hands-on approach and are eager to lead and develop a team in a dynamic environment.
Location: Germany, Frankfurt
Type of contract: permanent, on-site (1 day home office)
You Will:
1. lead your development team both technically and disciplinarily, and promote a cooperative, modern team culture.
2. continuously develop your team – through mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback.
3. design sustainable technical standards, conventions, and scalable software and system architectures.
4. develop and optimize processes and ensure effective automation.
5. be actively involved in the development of new features as well as the further development of existing features to a high standard.
6. assume overall responsibility for the IT system landscape of your area – from software and servers to availability.
Requirements
7. You have at least 3-5 years of professional experience as a senior developer or software architect and demonstrable leadership experience.
8. You have very good knowledge of object-oriented PHP development and are proficient in using Symfony.
9. You bring sound MySQL knowledge as well as good experience in Linux/Debian administration.
10. Ideally, you have experience with Ansible and automation processes.
11. You enjoy working hands-on, are motivated, and have a passion for modern software development.
12. Excellent German and English skills.
