Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future.

What you will be doing:
* Planning and further development of the fab and sub-fab layouts for a new, state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing facility
* Coordination of layouts with production, engineering, facilities, IT, and EHS
* Integration of production, material flow, and utility requirements (media, cleanroom, logistics)
* Maintenance, expansion, and utilization of the digital factory model (Digital Twin) across all levels of the factory
* Support for scenarios, ramp-ups, and conversion projects using layout and simulation data
* Preparation of decision-making documentation for project and plant management
What you will bring along:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
* Several years of experience in the layout planning of production facilities, ideally semiconductor fabs (fab/sub-fab)
* Desirable: Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and factory logistics
* Experience with CAD, layout, or digital twin tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Factory Design Tools)
* Strong affinity for data and systems, as well as a structured approach to work
* Very good German and good English skills
* Analytical and spatial reasoning skills
* Strong affinity for IT and computers
* Communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary projects
* Independent and solution-oriented work style
* Good team player and communicator
