Industrial Director Writing (m/f/d)
A full-time position at our Headquarters in Hamburg starting as soon as possible
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the production value chain dedicated to our writing instruments while cultivating the brand’s craftsmanship, quality, aesthetics and high standards.

1. by defining the strategic direction and leadership of the manufacturing and manufacturing-related operations for the iconic writing instrument products of our Maison
2. by being responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations across a diverse and dynamic scope that includes product development and engineering, industrial serial production and customized collectors/artisan atelier and all operational management of related departments.
3. by ensuring the seamless integration of safety, quality, and productivity standards to achieve operational excellence.
4. in developing and executing long-term manufacturing strategies based on a transparent and agile planning process that aligns with business objectives across all production areas
5. by driving efficiency initiatives, implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs
6. by establishing, managing and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, delivery and productivity
7. by leading, inspiring, and developing cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and client obsession
8. by proactively maintaining compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, prioritizing a safe and sustainable working environment
9. by reflecting your dedication and skill in every produced Writing instrument
You’ll have…
10. a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a technical focus or comparable
11. minimum 15 years of relevant senior leadership experience with full responsibility for industrial operations ( MD production company, Industrial Director, Operations Director)
12. profound experience in the optimization of production organizations and planning processes
13. strong leadership skills with goal- and result-orientated management
14. proven track record of change and interface management in a corporate group
15. excellent communication skills; ability to interact with all hierarchic levels
16. resilience to stress, assertiveness
17. a creative, curious and dynamic mindset, you are able to think out of the box
18. excellent strategic vision and conceptual strengths
19. the ability to challenge yourself and the teams, with a lot of empathy
20. a charismatic personality with intercultural sensitivity
21. very good MS Office skills, excellent German and English language skills
