Responsibilities
The main responsibility will be to sell the Payment & Cash Management Services to Societe Generale’s clients.
The candidate will manage an existing portfolio and acquire new cash management clients. The role requires a close coordination with Coverage Bankers in Germany and abroad, as well as with other GTB colleagues.
He/she will also be requested to actively cross-sell with PCM international network and all other business lines within the organization, notably Trade Finance and Factoring.
1. Sell Payments & Cash Management products and services:
2. Bank accounts and Virtual Account Structures
3. Domestic and international means of payment
4. Electronic Banking Channels
5. Liquidity Management solutions (Zero Balancing and notional pooling)
6. Domestic and International guarantees
7. Credit Facilities attached to these products (Overdraft, Guarantees)
8. Short Term Revolving Credit Facilities
9. FOREX Solutions
10. Support central teams by the creation of proposals in response to domestic and international Requests for Proposal (RFP)
11. Liaise closely with Client Service Teams to ensure successful on-boarding/ implementation and/or addition of new products and services. The candidate is expected to be a strong team player.
12. Monitor and update deals in CRM tool to ensure perfect communication with all stakeholders.
13. Monitor required credit facilities (Overdrafts, Guarantees)
14. Launch Credit Applications, align with Credit & Risk Management Colleagues
15. Comply with risk, regulatory and compliance obligations always
Profile required
16. One to three years of experience in Payments & Cash Management is required as part of studies or a bank apprenticeship
17. Mix of Relationship management and sales skills
18. Effective team player based on good interpersonal and communication skills to build and influence business relationships at all levels of our multicultural organization
19. Communication and writing skills for pitching, being fluent in German and English (French is beneficial)
20. Analytical and organizational skills (having an analytical mind to propose effective and customer-oriented solutions)
21. Knowledge of the regulatory environment
