:The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a well-established international consultancy that is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to strengthen its Data Centre design capability. This role is ideally suited to an electrical engineer with strong experience in mission-critical environments such as Data Centres or similarly complex facilities (e.g. pharmaceutical projects). You will play a key role in delivering technically robust electrical designs while providing leadership and direction within project teams.
Day-to-Day Duties:
1. Take technical ownership of electrical design delivery for large-scale Data Centre projects from concept through to construction.
2. Lead, coordinate, and mentor electrical design teams, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet programme, budget, and client requirements.
3. Act as the primary electrical technical interface for clients, multidisciplinary consultants, and internal stakeholders.
4. Develop and review electrical design solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, local regulations, and client specifications.
5. Review and approve electrical design documentation, calculations, and specifications, ensuring accuracy, resilience, and constructability.
6. Collaborate closely with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to deliver fully coordinated designs.
7. Support project managers with technical input on programme, risk management, value engineering, and cost optimisation.
8. Contribute to business development activities by providing electrical expertise for bids, proposals, and client presentations.
Job Requirement Qualifications and Experience:
9. Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Electrical Engineer on Data Centre projects, ideally within a design consultancy environment.
10. Strong technical background in electrical building services or power engineering, with hands-on design experience.
11. Experience leading electrical teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams on complex projects.
12. Excellent command of English and ideally German (written and spoken).
13. Familiarity with international standards, client requirements, and construction practices relevant to mission-critical facilities.
14. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
