UniCredit Bank GmbH is continuously expanding its Data Science and Artificial Intelligence capabilities. The Data & Intelligence Office plays a crucial role in managing the bank’s data landscape and delivering advanced analytical and AI-driven solutions across business and control functions.
Design, develop, and scale Data Science and Agentic AI use cases across core banking domains (e.g., Risk, Fraud, Compliance, Sales, and Operations)
Build and maintain machine learning and generative AI models to automate and optimize business-critical processes
Develop data-driven products on our modern big data and cloud platforms
Integrate LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI-powered workflow automation into existing banking processes
Ensure model robustness, governance, and compliance, particularly in the context of model risk, data privacy and financial regulation
A Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Informatics, or a related field (recently completed or within the last 2 years) with strong academic performance
A PhD in a relevant field is a plus
Python ) and a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Practical experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Agentic AI
Interest in banking-specific topics such as Risk Management, Fraud Detection, Regulatory Reporting, or Customer Analytics
Google, Microsoft Azure) and big data technologies is beneficial
Fluency in English and German ; Italian is a plus

In the UniCredit Graduate Program Germany, you can expect an attractive fixed annual base salary from €59,761 gross, based on full-time employment and aligned with your academic degree.
Your remuneration is determined in accordance with the provisions of the applicable collective salary agreement for the private banking sector and is based on the following grading:
Bachelor’s degree: pay group 6/11th professional year
Doctoral degree (PhD): pay group 8/11th professional year
The target salary consists of two components: the annual base salary (as outlined above), paid in 13 monthly installments, and a variable bonus payment. The variable bonus payment is based on one monthly gross base salary and will be adjusted by the company’s success and your individual performance contribution.
