Our day at NTTDATA: The Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Services is accountable for the end‑to‑end leadership, delivery, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure platforms, including cloud, server, and network domains. The role ensures that all infrastructure services are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned to business needs while driving operational excellence, service performance, and continuous improvement across the enterprise platform landscape.
Purpose of the Role Provide integrated leadership across infrastructure services, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
Enable secure and reliable enterprise platforms that support business operations and digital services.
Drive alignment between infrastructure operations and architecture standards.
Contribute to the delivery of Digital IT Operations service outcomes, including high availability and user experience improvement.
Key Roles and Responsibilities Infrastructure & Cloud Service Ownership: Own the low‑level design, implementation, and lifecycle management of cloud and on‑premise infrastructure platforms. Ensure infrastructure services meet business requirements for performance, scalability, availability, cost efficiency, and operations leadership.
Service Reliability: Lead global infrastructure operations across cloud operations (public, private, hybrid), server and data centre operations, and network and connectivity services. Ensure delivery of high availability, reliability, effective incident and problem resolution, and robust backup and disaster recovery capabilities.
Governance, Risk & Compliance: Operate infrastructure platforms in line with security standards and policies, governance frameworks, audit and compliance requirements, and technical standards across network, server, and cloud environments.
Service Integration & Delivery: Support a single, business‑facing service delivery model with integrated supplier management. Contribute effectively to end‑to‑end service delivery and multi‑provider coordination and governance (SIAM‑aligned).
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as primary point of accountability for infrastructure services across internal IT stakeholders, regional IT teams, and external vendors. Ensure strong collaboration across service strategy, security & risk, enterprise architecture, and application services.
Continuous Improvement & Optimisation: Drive service improvement initiatives focusing on platform performance, cost optimisation, and standardisation. Ensure continuous evolution of infrastructure services in line with business demand.

Consistent service availability and performance outcomes.
Effective integration of infrastructure services within the Digital IT Operations delivery model.
Governance and compliance across infrastructure environments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Platform availability and uptime for critical services.
Incident resolution effectiveness (MTTR trends).
Service performance against agreed targets.
Risk & compliance infrastructure compliance posture and remediation of vulnerabilities.
Infrastructure cost optimisation outcomes and resource utilisation efficiency.
Contributions to overall service experience improvement (CSAT) and reduction of end‑user service disruptions.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (required).
Professional Certifications (Required / Strongly Preferred) IT Service Management & Operating Models
IT4IT™ Foundation or Practitioner
Cloud architecture or operations certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP – Professional or Expert level)
Infrastructure or platform engineering certifications relevant to hybrid and cloud environments.
Automation, DevOps & Reliability Experience Significant experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or platform operations leadership – 10+ years. Proven track record managing enterprise‑scale infrastructure environments, operating in global, multi‑provider delivery models, and delivering reliable, secure, and cost‑effective IT services.
