Accountant (m/w/d)
Your future role:
Invoice Verification:
1. Check invoice details for completeness and accuracy in accordance with VAT regulations; return to supplier if incorrect
2. Contact suppliers regarding complaints and reissuance
Resolving Discrepancies:
3. Clarify discrepancies compared to the invoice (with purchasing and relevant department), possibly adjust payment terms
4. Clarify discrepancies in travel expense reports
Processing Travel Expenses:
5. Verify travel expense receipts for accuracy in Concur
6. Review receipts and travel transactions in Egencia
7. Remind colleagues about missing receipts
8. Generate regular reports on overdue travel expenses
9. Post receipts after approval by the responsible supervisor
10. Monitor receipt handover in SAP
11. Process advances and credit card receipts
12. Create travel expense accruals at month-end
Review and Processing of Pre-recorded Receipts:
13. Check externally scanned receipts for correct entry and assist in error checking and correction (e.g., assignment errors, missing items, payees, etc.)
Your profile:
14. Education: 3-year commercial apprenticeship (Industrial Clerk or similar)
15. Experience: 1-3 years experience in Accounting
16. Software: Familiar with SAP FI
17. Knowledge: Travel Expenses and Allowances
18. Language: Fluent in English and German language
19. Used to work in a fast-paced, results oriented environment with attention to detail, teamplayer
