Join our team and help us drive growth in exciting markets worldwide.Your ContributionDrive sales growth and achieve KPIs (revenue, gross margin, share of wallet) within your assigned regionDevelop new business opportunities and secure orders, including adjacent industriesPrepare and negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholdersAct as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionallyMonitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisionsMaintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systemsRepresent SCHOTT at trade shows and cross-functional meetingsCollaborate with cross-functional global teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing) to execute regional strategy.Your ProfileEducational Background & Experience: Master’s degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environmentTechnical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutionsSales & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customersCommunication & Interpersonal Competence: Fluent in English (additional skills in German is a plus) and skilled in building trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organizationStrategic & Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally as requiredYour BenefitsSCHOTT’s openness to promote your further development is just as great as our additional benefits.
