MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is the European branch of Hyundai MOBIS, a worldwide leading supplier of genuine parts and accessories in the field of automotive. Together with Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, Hyundai MOBIS is one of the biggest companies within the Hyundai group. In addition to research and development of high-tech products for passenger cars, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is responsible for the whole aftersales business of genuine parts and accessories for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors in Europe.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven hands-on experience in COBOL development in an enterprise/production environment.
* Familiarity with RPG programs and IBM i (AS/400) environment is preferred.
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases; ability to tune complex queries.
* Understanding of batch/online processing, file handling, and data validation concepts.
* Experience with debugging, incident analysis, and production support.
* Familiarity with change/release processes and documentation (BRD/SOP/test evidence).
* Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
Your tasks
* Support business operations by maintaining and enhancing COBOL programs - Implement change requests for order/warehouse/supply chain/inventory processes.
* Analyze requirements and create technical specifications - Conduct impact analysis on existing COBOL logic, procedures, and data flows.
* Develop and optimize batch/online jobs - Improve processing efficiency, error handling, and data validation.
* Manage database interactions - Write and tune SQL queries; work with stored procedures and ensure data consistency.
* Perform troubleshooting and defect resolution- Identify root causes, fix issues, and prevent recurrence.
* Support testing and release activities - Prepare test data, support UAT, and coordinate deployment for COBOL/DB items.
* Monitor and support production operations - Provide L2/L3 support, handle incidents, and ensure service stability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional team - Work with business users to deliver end-to-end changes.
* Maintain documentation and SOPs - Keep program specs, change history, and operational procedures up to date. .
* Ensure compliance and quality - Follow coding standards, conduct peer reviews where applicable, and support audits.
