Tool Designer & Process Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities At a Glance
* Design of new tools, fixtures, and aids, as well as modification of existing designs, considering quality and cost-effectiveness
* Development of forming concepts for new or special requirements
* Conducting feasibility analyses and designing technical solutions
* Accompanying and leading trials, prototype production, and process start-ups
* Analyzing and optimizing existing tools regarding service life, product quality, and cost-effectiveness
* Creating and maintaining technical documentation and tool-specific data in systems and databases
* Assisting in the calculation and cost evaluation of tools
* Supporting the continuous development of our integrated management system (quality, environment, energy, occupational safety)
* Close collaboration with production and adjacent departments to ensure efficient processes
Your Profile
* Completed training as a technician, ideally with a focus on tool design or sheet metal forming
* At least 3 years of professional experience in the metalworking industry, preferably in forming technology
* Proficient in using CAD software (ideally CATIA V5) and MS Office; knowledge of SAP and ARAS is an advantage
* Good knowledge of English
* Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and a strong understanding of quality and processes
* Team player, strong communication skills, and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner
