POSITION OVERVIEW:
As Social Commerce Manager, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of social commerce activations, working closely with key retail partners such as Douglas and Flaconi.
You will drive consumer-centric, full-funnel social commerce initiatives across Coty’s portfolio, combining influencer marketing, content, community, and e-commerce in close collaboration with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, PR, Influencer Marketing) as well as external partners and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
6. Support the development and continuous optimization of the DACH social commerce strategy, aligned with full-funnel advocacy objectives and the marketing plan
7. Independently plan, execute, and optimize social commerce activations, including influencer, creator, and content-driven campaigns in collaboration with retail partners
8. Develop customer- and retailer-specific programs to drive sell-out across Coty’s cross-divisional brand portfolio, ensuring alignment with KPIs and commercial targets
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners (e.g. Douglas, Flaconi), positioning Coty as a strategic and innovative social commerce partner
10. Support the development of test-and-learn initiatives, pilot activations, and opportunity analyses
11. Monitor, analyze, and evaluate campaign performance, deriving actionable optimization recommendations
12. Identify trends, platform developments, and high-performing content formats to continuously evolve the social commerce approach
13. Contribute to and collaborate on European social commerce initiatives, supporting the scaling and adaptation of best practices, activations, and strategic partnerships across markets
14. Create and share best practices and learnings across markets and teams
15. Manage agencies and external partners, including briefing, coordination, and controlling
16. Support budget planning and tracking for assigned projects
17. Conduct competitive analysis and monitor category developments
Required Skills & Competencies
18. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
19. Initial relevant professional experience (e.g. 3–5 years) in social media, influencer marketing, e-commerce, or key account management
20. Strong understanding of social platforms, creator economy, and digital ecosystems
21. Experience working with retailers and/or e-commerce environments is a strong plus
22. Structured, independent working style with strong ownership mindset
23. Strong analytical skills and KPI-driven thinking
24. Excellent communication and presentation skills
25. Creative mindset with a passion for content and digital innovation
26. Solid project management skills and ability to work in cross-functional, matrix organizations
27. Technical understanding (e.g. tracking, tagging, platform mechanics) is a plus
28. Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
