What you`ll do
We are looking for a team-oriented and results-driven Software Developer (f/m/d), who likes to follow agile engineering practices and is enthusiastic to gain knowledge in the architecture and processes of SAP’s cloud solutions.
As a Software Developer (f/m/d) within the RDP (Responsible Design & Production) team you will:
1. Become an active part of the complete software life cycle of our cloud solution (backlog definition, specification, design, implementation, quality assurance, delivery, operation, and maintenance)
2. Take the responsibility for software components and services
3. Possess software development skills with a passion to build high quality applications
4. Deliver your assigned tasks / responsibilities on time, ensure quality and performance
5. Work in agile development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently as well as be flexible
6. Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside of your teams (Scrum/Scrum of Scrum) and as well with the management
What you bring
7. University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
8. Good skills in object-oriented programming, tools and platforms (Java, Javascript/UI5, Node.js, Git, Deployment Pipeline, RDBMS, Cloud Foundry)
9. Knowledge in Software Design Patterns and Software Engineering like micro services, message queuing or API design
10. Ability to work in an international, agile product development environment
11. Analytical and architectural skills
12. Ability to easily acquire understanding in new areas
13. Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English; German is a plus
14. First software development experience
