The Supply Chain Operations Manager (m/w/d) at Airbus serves as a pivotal role in ensuring smooth logistics and material flow processes in and out of the final assembly lines (FAL) located in Tianjin, China, and the US. Based in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you will act as the bridge between back offices, front offices, logistics service providers, and Airbus internal departments. This position calls for proactive process stabilization and optimization amidst increasing production rates, with an emphasis on harmonization and cost reduction in logistics operations. Your daily responsibilities will range from handling supply disruptions to overseeing material master data and monitoring component and tool return processes. Your tasks: You will coordinate with non-European FALs, aligning logistical processes and collaborating across departments. Your focus will be on identifying, conceptualizing, and implementing measures to optimize and harmonize logistics operations. You will actively partake in procurement and delivery processes, ensuring prompt data collection such as pricing, material composition, and tariff classifications. Your task includes developing solutions to stabilize material flow for increasing production rates in FAL Asia and FAL USA. You will manage disruptions and support strategic procurement processes efficiently. Your scope will also include monitoring and ensuring the return process for components and tools. VORAUSSSETZUNGEN: You bring a technical or business administration degree, or equivalent professional training in supply chain, logistics, or related fields. You have 2 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or logistics operations. You demonstrate proficiency in SAP/R3 and Google Workspace applications. Your process management competencies are solid and effective. You possess fluent German and English language skills critical for international collaboration. Your ability to analyze and resolve technical issues swiftly makes you stand out. You are willing to work shifts until 8 p.m. and travel globally once a year.
