Compliance Officer
Advantest is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team. This role involves maintaining and supporting our 'Design for the Environment' guideline.
* Follow changes on regulatory requirements in EMEA, Asia, and the US
* Translate regulatory requirements into product requirements
* Responsible for customer inquiries on regulatory topics and material compliance declarations
* Maintain and support our 'Design for the Environment' guideline
* Support environmental aspects for all new product development projects & product end of life
* Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on environmental aspects
* Coordinate responsibilities with Product Stewardship
* Manage Advantest requirements on fulfilling global environmental product compliance
* Generating routine compliance reports for authorities as necessary
* Manage RoHS 3, REACH, SCIP & other substance data gathering, compliance and regulatory changes as needed
Qualifications
A Bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related discipline is required.
* Strong technical knowledge and skills implementing and complying with environmental regulations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
* Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Project management and presentation skills
* Pro-active working style with good business acumen
