Senior Sales Engineer – Modular Residential Construction (m/f/d)

Role Overview:
As Senior Sales Engineer, you will partner with residential developers, housing cooperatives, and real estate investors to tailor modular construction solutions to their needs. Acting as the commercial and technical interface, you will guide clients from initial engagement through to contract close, collaborating closely with internal experts to ensure project feasibility and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and nurture relationships with developers, housing associations, and institutional investors
* Advise on modular construction systems and their sustainability and speed-of-build benefits
* Develop project outlines and collaborate with technical teams to produce proposals
* Lead contract negotiations, including BGB and VOB contractual frameworks
* Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions
Candidate Profile:
* Degree in architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering (with construction focus), or similar
* 5+ years of experience in the construction or building materials sector
* Experience in project-based technical sales, client consulting, or delivery in residential or modular construction
* Proactive mindset, confident in client engagement and negotiation
* Genuine interest in sustainable construction and energy-efficient housing
* Fluent in German; and good English proficiency
Preferred Extras:
* Knowledge of timber or prefabricated construction systems
* Understanding of BGB/VOB contract law in Germany
