Connexus Recruit is delighted to partner with a leading Irish charity to recruit a Community & Fundraising Manager for the Munster region.
This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation and play a key role in growing its presence and impact across Munster.
As the Community & Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing corporate partnerships, supporting community fundraising initiatives, engaging volunteers and building strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the region.
This is a varied, people-focused role that combines business development, fundraising, volunteer engagement and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and grow relationships with local and regional businesses to secure fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.
* Identify new partnership opportunities and income streams across the Munster region.
* Support and motivate community groups, schools and volunteer fundraisers to deliver successful fundraising initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and key stakeholders.
* Represent the organisation at fundraising events, presentations, community activities and networking opportunities.
* Support regional fundraising campaigns and events, helping to achieve income and engagement targets.
* Work closely with volunteer teams, providing guidance, support and recognition.
* Monitor fundraising activity, manage budgets and maintain accurate reporting.
About You
* Previous experience in fundraising, business development, sales, partnerships, account management or community engagement.
* A strong relationship builder who enjoys networking and developing connections with people from all backgrounds.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience working with volunteers, community groups or stakeholder networks would be advantageous.
* Highly organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
* A positive, energetic and proactive approach.
