Job scope/summary:
The Labor Relations Project Manager - DACH is responsible to manage works council consultations on assigned projects from creating and aligning the engagement strategy to implementing collective agreements. Contributes to the overall works council relationship management and supports strategic labor relation projects. Ensures effective partnership with the HR DACH team, business leaders and relevant project stakeholder. Leads change management initiatives which include involvement of works councils.
Job specifics/responsibilities:
1. Works closely with the People & Culture team and business leaders in the DACH region as well as with global People & Culture functions to understand the context and business impact of works council consultation subjects
2. Plans consultation processes anticipating and mitigating risks in alignment with People & Culture and business stakeholders
3. Creates, aligns and monitors project plans for consultation processes
4. Leads consultation processes on assigned projects, including negotiation of collective agreements
5. Co-ordinates activities to implement collective agreements (e.g. process adoption, communication, change management interventions)
6. Builds and maintains relationships with relevant works council committees
7. Takes responsibility for collective conflict resolution procedures incl. arbitration
8. May support on resolving complex employee relations issues and address grievances
9. Maintains and updates relevant documentation
10. Collaborates with People & Culture colleagues and external partners on various activities
11. Stays up to date to relevant regulations and jurisdiction
12. Contributes to knowledge sharing and skills development in the team
13. Acts as point of contact for business and People & Culture stakeholder on labor relation matters
14. Supports People & Culture lead with special projects and tasks

Education (degree) and professional experience required:
20. Min. bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
21. At least 10 years of Generalist HR work experience in a corporate environment, with a minimum of 5 years responsibility for complex labor relation matters
22. Proven professional experience in managing works council relationships
Other requirements:
23. Fluent in written and verbal English
24. Fluent in written and verbal German
25. Desirable: Certifications and/or completion of courses in labor law
26. Desirable: Certifications and/or completion of courses in mediation
27. Advanced MS Office user and technology literacy

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract.
