About the Role

KG Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Product Management Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, you will be part of an international project team driving the development of future high-voltage switchgear for wind turbine systems. You will implement our customers’ requirements and shape the entire development process, from the initial sketch to the finished product.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Collaborating on the development of new high-voltage switchgear within an international team.
2. Modeling mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo while considering cost and functionality.
3. Planning, setting up, and conducting development and type tests.
4. Analyzing test results and deriving necessary design changes.
5. Documenting work results in drawings that comply with standards.
6. Supporting day-to-day operations through technical expertise within a cross-functional project team.
What You Bring
7. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Product Development) or equivalent.
8. Several years of project experience in the field of electrical systems, particularly in the development of GIS high-voltage switchgear.
9. Advanced knowledge of the design of mechanical components and assemblies, including computer-aided simulation tools.
10. Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, particularly PTC Creo.
11. Ability to work effectively in a team, a results- and customer-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently.
12. Business-level English proficiency; knowledge of German is a plus.
