Responsibilities: We define the quality requirements for power modules to achieve a reliable and durable design through manufacturing. We represent Quality Management for Power Modules within the development team. We correlate failure mechanisms in SiC- and GaN-equipped power modules with reliability measures to be implemented into product quality. We define the qualification approach for product developments for power module products. We enable early identification and characterization of failure mechanisms and link them to performance and lifetime limitations through simulation and predictive analytics. We determine the effect of different stress factors on lifetime. We set up product lifetime estimation based on customer application profiles and derive pass/fail criteria. We manage the concept of reliability tests with external partners. We implement quality procedures and quality standards, including Nexperia, JEDEC, AEC-Q, AQG 324, and customer-specific requirements, in projects. We support customers with SiC/GaN power module issues and complaint handling. We lead customer requests using structured problem-solving methods and prepare customer-facing quality reports and presentations. We manage failure analysis requests, coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate findings clearly. We promote quality as added value to internal and external stakeholders. We identify and address quality gaps in the product creation process. We define qualification requirements and support qualification of manufacturing processes. We document and handle data in analysis tools and evaluate reliability, yield, FMEA, and customer requests. We identify root causes for yield loss and other production problems and implement containment and corrective actions. We create the initial input for PCNs, review and issue them, and support follow-up activities.
