We are looking for a talented Senior Business Development Specialist (m/w/d) to join our team specializing in Sales for our CDD Gensets Department in Gross-Gerau, Hessen, Germany.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a specific market, product segment, or region.
2. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to define and prioritize attractive market segments.
3. Analyze market data and trends to support strategic decision-making.
4. Research potential customers and understand their business needs, challenges, and terminology.
5. Build and maintain relationships with target accounts to uncover new opportunities.
6. Support the development of account plans, proposals, and business cases.
7. Contribute to closing new sales opportunities and ensure smooth handover to Account Managers.
8. Share market insights and customer feedback while supporting overall sales strategy and business growth.

10. High level of customer orientation with a focus on understanding and addressing client needs.
11. Solid knowledge of power generation to effectively support technical discussions and solutions.

Education/ Experience:
13. Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant professional experience.
14. Relevant experience in technical sales, business development, or a comparable role is beneficial.
15. Knowledge of decentralized power generation is considered a strong advantage.
16. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory.
