You’ll make an impact by You develop end-to-end solution architectures, including conceptual, logical, and physical designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and industry guidelines. You provide mentorship factory teams on the selection, deployment, and optimization of digital technologies and solutions. You facilitate communication and teamwork between diverse teams, including manufacturing operations, IT, cybersecurity, and partners. You present sophisticated technical concepts and architectural designs clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences, gaining consensus and agreement. You drive innovation by finding opportunities to use new technologies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. You support the implementation and deployment phases, ensuring that solutions are built according to architectural specifications and perform as expected within agreed timelines and budgets. You create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, data flow diagrams, and system integration maps. Your defining qualities You have many years of experience in IT/OT architecture, solution design, systems integration, or software development, with a strong focus on industrial environments, and several years of direct experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Lead Technical Architecture role. You have validated experience working within manufacturing, industrial automation, or operational technology (OT) environments, and understand factory floor operations, production processes, and industrial control systems. You have a deep understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and digital manufacturing concepts, including automation, data analytics, IIoT, and AI/ML, and you have shown project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multi-functional teams and lead complex, global initiatives. You have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value You are a strong problem-solver and critical thinker with experience in working in a global, matrixed organization and navigating cultural differences. You have a Master degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. Willingness to travel (up to 25%) and proficiency in English and German completes your profile.
