Your mission
As a Senior Customer Success Manager (m/f/d) specializing in Alternative Investments, you will be the strategic leader and trusted advisor for our most complex institutional clients, overseeing their entire lifecycle—from onboarding through long-term partnership development. You’ll master complex financial, operational, and technological landscapes while driving strategic client relationships, leading cross-functional initiatives, and mentoring junior team members.
Working at the intersection of our business development, finance, legal, technology, and operations teams, you will serve as the senior strategic link between our technical products, services, and client success. You’ll leverage your deep expertise in alternative investments to shape client strategies, drive innovation, influence operations & product development, and deliver exceptional value through strategic leadership and advanced analytical capabilities.
Strategic Client Leadership
* Serve as the senior relationship executive for a portfolio of high-value, complex institutional clients
* Develop and execute strategic account plans that align client objectives with our service capabilities
* Lead quarterly business reviews and executive-level strategic planning sessions
* Act as escalation point for complex client issues and drive resolution across the organization
Customer Success Excellence
* Own and optimize client health metrics, retention rates and satisfaction scores for your portfolio
* Design and implement customer success frameworks, playbooks and best practices
* Drive customer advocacy programs and cultivate client champions
* Collaborate with senior managers across sales, compliance, finance and operations to ensure seamless client experiences
Advanced Project Management & Process Leadership
* Manage complex, multi-stakeholder onboarding projects for institutional clients in Alternative Investments
* Provide project reporting and insights
* Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans for critical client initiatives
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction
Your profile
* University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) is a plus
* 5+ years of proven experience in customer success, account management, project management or client relationship management, preferably in financial services or alternative investments
* Demonstrated track record of managing complex institutional client relationships and driving retention/growth
* Understanding of alternative investment products (private equity, private debt, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds)
* Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing senior stakeholders
* Excellent German, English, French (strong advantage), additional European languages are a plus
* Certifications (strongly preferred)
o Project Management: PRINCE 2, PMP, or similar
o Investment: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst), or equivalent
o Customer Success: Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) or similar
o Other relevant professional certifications
