Your tasks
Concept development: Development of holistic signature concepts for surface vessels (boats and ships) based on the specific requirements of the public client.
Limit value determination: Analysis, definition and setting of limit values for acoustic, infrared and electromagnetic signatures (radar, radio) in close coordination with the specialist departments.
Simulation & Analysis: Conducting analyses and simulations of radar cross sections (RCS) using modern tools such as Ansys Electronics Desktop, as well as checking the construction specifications.
Data maintenance: Continuous maintenance and documentation of all signature-relevant data in the ERP and CAD systems to ensure transparency and traceability.
Technical consulting & testing: Supporting project managers with technical questions vis-à-vis clients, classification societies and authorities, as well as accompanying onboard tests (FAT, HAT, SAT).
Your profile
Qualification: Completed studies in the field of systems engineering, naval architecture, communications engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
Professional expertise: Sound experience in the analysis, simulation and calculation of radar cross sections (RCS) as well as a strong interest in the use of simulation applications.
Industry knowledge: Ideally, initial experience in dealing with public clients as well as advantageous knowledge of the applicable marine construction regulations, standards and norms.
Personality: Strong teamwork and communication skills for targeted coordination with internal and external project partners.
Security & Flexibility: Willingness to undergo a security clearance (Ü2) and flexibility for occasional, project-related business trips.
