Avanade is looking for Business Development Managers who are deal hunters, deal makers, originators and self-starters who can develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. For this role, we are looking for people with experience in generating net new sales. You should have fun selling digital transformation and consulting services (e.g. AI-powered business solutions, ERP, Data & AI, Cloud, Business Applications, Modern Workplace) to enterprise clients in the Consumer Goods & Retail sector.
We are looking for Managers who have superb interpersonal skills and who can establish strong relationships within new & existing clients within the Microsoft ecosystem.
German language proficiency is required - you feel comfortable working and communicating in German on a daily basis.

What you’ll do
1. Be focused on the Consumer Goods & Retail market and drive industry-specific discussions with customer C-suite in both business and technology.
2. Identify high-potential transformation deals, lead and run entire sales cycles.
3. Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new clients (new logos).
4. Work closely with partners to drive new business.
5. Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts.
6. Interact with Avanade's new and existing clients, gain referrals, and form strong trust relationships that open doors and close deals.
7. Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competing offerings, and penetration of services and solutions.
