As an Inventory Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of all inventory-related financial data at Sonova Consumer Hearing (Sennheiser brand). You will monitor and record inventory transactions globally, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. In this role, you'll act as a trusted partner to internal and global stakeholders, supporting continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
More About The Role
* Analyze and optimize global inventory control processes.
* Record and validate inventory movements, valuations, and transfer prices.
* Perform intercompany profit elimination and ensure data integrity.
* Support and document valuation methodologies and process improvements.
* Conduct regular inventory inspections and audits.
* Monitor inventory levels, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting.
* Prepare detailed inventory and cost analysis reports for management.
* Support monthly and annual financial closing activities.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
* Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
More About You
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
* Several years of finance experience, including at least 1 year in inventory accounting.
* Strong knowledge of inventory controlling and intercompany processes.
* Proficiency in transfer pricing and cost analysis.
* Fluent English skills; German knowledge is a plus.
* Hands-on mentality with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Experience with Oracle JDE ERP or similar systems.
* Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.
