Performance Media Manager (m/w/x)

To strengthen our team, we are offering the following permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) at Hamburg HQ at the earliest possible date:
Your tasks
* Co-Develop and execute retail media strategies across priority EU markets (e.g., UK, Germany, Netherlands, Nordics, France)
* Plan and manage campaigns across retailer platforms (e.g., sponsored search, display, onsite activations)
* Align retail media activity with broader brand, trade marketing, and commercial priorities
* Build full-funnel retail media plans to drive awareness, conversion, and basket size
* Partner with local sales and key account teams to support retailer priorities, promotions, and new product launches
* Define and track KPIs such as ROAS, incremental sales, share of search, conversion rate, and digital shelf performance
* Coordinate with global and regional teams to share learnings and best practices
What we expect
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
* At least 4 years of experience in retail media, eCommerce, or performance marketing, ideally within CPG, beverage, or wellness sectors
* Experienced with retail media networks (e.g., Amazon Ads, supermarket RMNs, CitrusAd, Criteo Retail Media)
* A problem-solving, driven and hands-on person with clear and effective communication skills
* Familiarity with GDPR and European data/privacy regulations
* Experience working across global interdepartmental teams and cultures
* Proven track record of driving measurable sales growth through retail media campaigns across multiple European markets
* Professional or personal experience with mission-led, sustainable, or organic brands would be a plus
* Strong analytical skills with experience in performance measurement, attribution, and budget management
* Deep understanding of digital shelf optimization, retailer algorithms, and shopper behavior
* Good business understanding and financial skills (P&L, costs centers, etc.)
* Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office Suite, MS Project, and MS Teams, and how they integrate
* Excellence in German and fluency in business English, spoken and written
* Resume in English
