Position Description:
We are looking for a
Quality Engineer after Sales (w/m/d)
to join our Wolfsburg team.
In this role, you are expected to be responsible for:
* Ensuring quality in series production for automotive customers, sometimes on site at the customer's premises
* Taking responsibility for the realization of the quality standards agreed with the customer
* Processing customer complaints
* Interface between customers and production for all quality issues
* Contact person for the Minth production facilities and customers from the automotive industry
* Close cooperation with the quality team of the parent company in China and the production sites for quality planning and control
* Coordinate the quality, process and product management systems (IATF 16949/ VDA requirements)
* Defining quality targets as well as tracking and reporting the relevant indicators to the Quality Manager
* Carrying out root cause analyses and corrective actions
* Designing, implementing and realizing processes for quality improvement
* Responsible for cost control and reporting (8D methodology)
* Analyzing the causes of defects and defining measures as well as checking the effectiveness of the quality measures introduced
* Advising and supporting the specialist teams on quality issues in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations.
* Support the customer with on-site audits
Following qualifications and abilities are expected for this role:
* Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) or a comparable degree, e.g. as a technician with relevant experience in the QM area
* At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of quality management, familiar with VW and MBAG claim process and systems
* Up-to-date knowledge of QM methods
* Knowledge of modern production technologies and manufacturing methods
* Experience with automotive exterior parts is an advantage
* Confident handling of MS Office, in particular very good knowledge of Excel, Access
* High level of commitment and reliability plus analytical thinking and an independent way of working
* Team spirit, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, willingness to travel and intercultural openness
* Native or business fluent in German and business fluent in English
* Strong negotiation skills, strong communication skills, organizational talent as well as strong team orientation round off your profile.
