Piper Maddox has partnered with a commodities trading business who are scaling their desk focused on renewable and flexible assets. To support this theyre looking for a Power Operations Manager to join the team.
Your Responsibilities:
* Monitor and coordinate the real-time operation of energy assets to ensure optimal commercial and technical performance
* Manage Redispatch 2.0 processes and related regulatory workflows
* Act as the operational interface between trading, plant operations, grid operators and external partners
* Identify, escalate and resolve operational issues
* Coordinate trade–related operational processes and validate operational data flows
* Contribute to the optimisation, automation and documentation of operational workflows and processes
Requirements:
* Professional experienced in the energy markets, dispatch, plant operations or energy data management
* Comfortable with technical and data‑driven processes
* Structured, reliable and able to prioritise under time pressure
* Flexible with working hours, including on‑call readiness when required
* Fluent in German & English
