Your mission
As our Dealer Manager, your purpose is to execute the Sales & Services strategy in close alignment with the local leadership team. You will make critical decisions regarding our Route to Market (RtM) and execute indirect sales activities to achieve established targets, ensure blank spot coverage, and drive the performance management of our existing dealers. Working closely with our teams in the German and Austrian markets, you will be a key driver of international business growth.
Key responsibilities
* Strategy & Budgeting: Own and drive the market strategy with distributors (including business plans and budgets) in cooperation with Business Line Managers.
* Sales Execution: Plan, monitor and execute equipment sales activities to achieve volume, price realization, margins and customer satisfaction targets.
* Process Optimization: Ensure a consistent approach to the development and implementation of common processes, tools, policies and procedures with distributors.
* Financial Control: Grant trade discounts in accordance with established guidelines and strictly work within the allocated budget.
* Market Monitoring: Monitor regional tender and key account business to identify new opportunities.
* Network Growth: Lead negotiations and implement agreements with distributors, providing appropriate advice to support their continuous business development.
* Performance Management: Create dealer-specific strategies and business plans; analyze and monitor performance to ensure activities meet sales expectations.
* Standards & Compliance: Ensure that the dealer network provides facilities, service, and management in strict accordance with Hiab standards.
What we are looking for
* Degree in a relevant field (Commercial, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Business Administration) at a Bachelor/academic level.
* At least 5 years of relevant business/product sales experience (preferably within the truck industry or load-handling equipment).
* Proven experience in growing, maintaining, and managing a dealer network, as well as driving equipment business sales and profitability.
* Truck experience and knowledge are highly desired; ability to configure a vehicle and perform basic stability and weight calculations using programs such as Trailer Win is a strong advantage.
* Proficiency with MS Office and GSuite; a valid driver’s license is required.
* Ability to work effectively within an international matrix organization.
* High integrity with excellent interpersonal skills. Fluent English is a must (for division/corporate communication), alongside fluency in the local language (for customer interaction).
