THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL ENJOY Technical and managerial leadership of the IT Server Operations Team: Responsibility for personnel management, professional development, and resource planning for the team Ensuring smooth and secure data center operations: Overseeing the IT infrastructure through effective monitoring, rapid troubleshooting, and continuous optimization 2nd- and 3rd-level support: Expert support for all issues in the area of IT Server Operations, including escalation management Planning, design, and implementation of cloud solutions: Responsibility for the implementation and further development of cloud-based solutions based on Microsoft Azure Management of email and Exchange servers: Ensuring optimal operation, including maintenance and administration of the Active Directory directory service Operation and maintenance of server systems: Reliable management of DNS, DHCP, FTP, and file servers, including regular updates and performance optimization WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification Excellent knowledge of database system administration, terminal server management, and system/performance monitoring of HA clusters Extensive experience spanning several years with the Microsoft Azure and M365 product portfolio and technologies (Windows Virtual Desktop, Azure Files, Azure SQL, Azure Stack, Exchange Online, Azure AD Premium, Entra, Conditional Access, and RBAC, etc.) Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as a structured and analytical approach to work Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (e.g., incident, problem, and change management) Extensive experience in data center operations with SAN/NAS storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions Excellent German and good English skills Willingness to participate in socially responsible on-call duty outside of core working hours, including weekends WHAT WE OFFER YOU Remote work & flexible hours Work-life balance Fruit, coffee, and beverages Individual development support JobRad, vacation pay, and Christmas bonus And many more benefits await you!
