As a Lead Engineer (f/m/x), you’ll join the Single Sign-On (SSO) Services Engineering team as the SL3 Lead Engineer (f/m/x).
You will directly collaborate with business departments, SL2 and Engineering team (local and remote) to ensure Production Stability. Together with the teams you will focus on different types of SL3 tasks with primary focus on Production Stability and vulnerability management. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be providing support as needed to ensure that SSO Services (Cloud & Onpremise) are highly available.

Your key responsibilities
1. Act as the highest level of technical support (L3) for authentication / SSO-related incidents
2. Perform deep dive debugging of Java services, SAML/OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows, and federation issues
3. Collaborate with L2 & Development teams to resolve escalations that require code-level or system-level expertise
4. Provide consistent and comprehensive communication on system stability to senior stakeholders
5. Drive root cause analysis and system stability improvements to avoid reoccurrence of production issues; formulate and prioritize technical tasks to enhance system maintainability
6. Own and drive the streamlining of SL3 support processes
7. Be a subject matter expert in Single Sign landscape
8. Champion best practices for incident resolution, vulnerability remediation, security & compliance
Your skills and experiences
9. Strong experience in developing solutions using Java
10. Several years of experience in production support of systems in a complex environment
11. Very good SQL and Unix knowledge. Experience in bash / Python scripting is a plus
12. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving skills
13. Analytical skills, structured approach, attention to details; high discipline and stress resistance; ability to take ownership of tasks up to full completion
14. University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
15. Strong Experience working with Google Cloud architecture, Docker, Kubernetes and any of these Public Clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP
16. You have a hands-on attitude, curiosity, make use of your problem-solving skills and speak fluently English.

Aufgaben
22. Hauptverantwortung für den technischen Support (L3) für Authentifizierungs-/SSO-bezogene Vorfälle
23. Ausführung von Deep-Dive-Debugging von Java-Diensten, SAML/OAuth2/OpenID Connect-Flows und Verbundproblemen
24. Zusammenarbeit mit L2- und Entwicklungsteams zur Behebung von Eskalationen, die Fachwissen auf Code- oder Systemebene erfordern
25. Bereitstellung einer konsistenten und umfassenden Kommunikation über die Systemstabilität für die wichtigsten Stakeholders
26. Durchführung Ursachenanalyse und Verbesserung Systemstabilität, um das erneute Auftreten von Produktionsproblemen zu vermeiden; Formulierung und Priorisierung technischer Aufgaben zur Verbesserung der Systemwartbarkeit
27. Optimierung der SL3-Support-Prozesse
28. Subject Matter Experte für die Single-Sign-Landschaft
29. Best Practices für Incident-Lösung, Behebung von Schwachstellen, Sicherheit und Compliance
Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen
30. Sehr fundierte Kenntnisse mit langjähriger Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Java-Lösungen
31. Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Produktionsunterstützung von Systemen in einer komplexen Umgebung
32. Sehr gute SQL und Unix Kenntnisse & Erfahrung im Bash / Python Scripting ist ein Plus
33. Starke Kommunikations-, Koordinations- und Problemlösungskompetenz
34. Analytische Fähigkeiten, strukturierter Ansatz, Liebe zum Detail, hohe Disziplin und Stressresistenz
