About the role
As Principal Product Quality Engineer SiC, you will drive and design the quality management strategies, including the qualification approach and execution, for next-generation SiC products for industrial and automotive applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the entire product development lifecycle (development, manufacturing, quality, test, and applications).
What you will do
1. Represent the Quality Management within the development team
2. Correlate the SiC failure mechanisms with reliability measures to be implemented into the product quality
3. Responsible to define the qualification approach of product developments for SiC products
4. Responsible for implementation of quality procedures & quality standards (Nexperia, JEDEC, AEC and customer specific) in the projects
5. Responsible for final test specifications and verifications
6. Promote quality as value added to internal and external stakeholders
7. Support customer requests and complaint handling
8. Responsible to identify and address quality gaps in product creation process
9. Define qualification requirements & support qualification of manufacturing processes
10. Documentation and handling of data in analysis tools and evaluation wrt. Reliability, Yield, FMEA, Customer requests, etc.
11. Activities to identify root causes for yield loss or other production problems as well as the implementation of containment and corrective actions
12. Responsible for creation of the initial input for PCNs, review and issue, and support follow up activities
What you will need
13. PhD or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics or a similar discipline
14. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position, experienced in wafer fab and assembly processes preferred, depending on educational credentials
15. Knowledge in semiconductor physics as well as in semiconductor applications, preferably in the SiC domain
16. Knowledge of international quality standards and policies e.g. AEC-Q101, AQG 324
17. Familiar with measurement methods and equipment as well as device testing environments
18. Familiar with standard software tools (e.g. Office), problem solving techniques
19. High quality mindset and ability to work under pressure
20. Fluent spoken and written English skills
21. Strong know how in statistical data analysis
22. Good communication and presentation skills
23. Good team player and willingness to travel
24. Assertiveness and demonstrated influencing skills
25. Ability to create a trusted network within the organization
26. Experience in resolving conflicts and disagreements among others
27. Open mindset, which welcomes changes and views problems as opportunities
