Arrow Capital Partners is looking to hire an Asset Manager or Junior Asset Manager to support the ongoing growth and performance of its German real estate platform.
The German business is focused on strategic last-mile and urban light industrial and logistics investments with an emphasis on value-add, actively managed assets, including multi-let estates and established, operationally intensive properties that require a hands-on approach to leasing, occupier engagement, and repositioning strategies. The role would suit an adaptable and commercially aware individual who enjoys working across both the operational and analytical side of real estate asset management.
This position provides broad exposure across leasing, capex delivery, budgeting, reporting, portfolio analysis, and asset-level strategy, while working closely with senior management within a lean German team.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of light industrial and logistics assets across Germany
* Work closely with occupiers, leasing agents, brokers, property and facility managers, and external consultants to support leasing activity and overall asset performance
* Take an active role in re-letting by lease-up of vacant space and extension of existing leases
* Ensure tenant engagement, actively monitoring lease events and occupier-related matters across the portfolio
* Support refurbishment, repositioning, and capital expenditure initiatives aimed at improving income and asset value
* Contribute to the preparation and implementation of annual asset-level business plans and budgets
* Assist with cash flow monitoring, reporting, and financial analysis relating to portfolio performance
* Prepare presentations, reporting packs, and internal documentation for management and investor purposes
* Coordinate with property and facility managers and external advisors to ensure smooth operational management of the assets
* Monitor leasing activity, operating costs, arrears, capex spend and service charge reconciliations spend, and income performance across assigned properties
* Support acquisition and disposal processes where required, including due diligence and transition coordination
* Carry out market and asset-level analysis including rental trends, tenant occupier demand and collection of comparable evidence within the German industrial sector
* Maintain accurate records and manage feed into reporting systems across the portfolio
Experience & Background
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in real estate asset management, property management, investment, or a related discipline
* Exposure to industrial and/or logistics assets would be beneficial, although candidates from other commercial asset classes, in particular office/retail will also be considered
* Experience working with multi-let, operationally active, or repositioning assets would be viewed positively
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with confidence working with asset-level financial information and reporting
* Comfortable supporting budgeting processes, business planning, and performance analysis
* Good Excel skills required; experience with Yardi would be advantageous
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently
* Confident communicator capable of dealing directly with tenants and external stakeholders
* Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
* Fluent German and professional English language skills
* Based in the Düsseldorf region, with flexibility for a predominantly remote working structure and travel within Germany as required
