Engineering Base (EB) Expert About the Role We are seeking an experienced Engineering Base (EB) Expert to support the development, configuration, and optimization of engineering design workflows within our electrical engineering projects. The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for Aucotec Engineering Base, ensuring seamless integration of engineering requirements, cabling design, routing logic, and CAD workflows. This role requires strong expertise in secondary electrical systems, cable management, and engineering data structures, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and translate engineering concepts into efficient digital design solutions. Key Responsibilities Support project teams in establishing and maintaining Engineering Base (EB) structures, data models, and workflows. Interpret Control & Protection (C&P) engineering documentation and ensure accurate implementation within Engineering Base. Configure, maintain, and validate routing-related logic and automation within CAD environments. Translate engineering requirements into structured and scalable Engineering Base models. Coordinate and support integration between Engineering Base and Autodesk Revit workflows. Identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to automated cable routing processes. Serve as the internal subject matter expert and primary point of contact for Engineering Base-related topics. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve digital engineering processes and data quality. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Aucotec Engineering Base (EB) in a professional environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Fluent spoken and written English. Technical Requirements Advanced proficiency in Aucotec Engineering Base (EB) as a CAD and engineering data management platform. Practical experience with cable routing and cable management systems. Experience working with automated routing solutions in engineering or design software. Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit. Strong expertise in cabling organization and coordination. Ability to read, interpret, and work with secondary electrical drawings and control circuit diagrams. Solid understanding of HV Substation Secondary Design, including: Control Systems Protection Systems Secondary Engineering Principles Preferred Candidate Profile Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering design and digital engineering tools. Able to translate complex engineering requirements into practical CAD and data management solutions.
