We, Viewlicity, are an up-and-coming Germany-based software company specializing in the development of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) systems for sports. Our product "PuttView Indoor" revolutionized golf in 2016 and has been setting new standards in the field of putting ever since. The projection-based indoor training system is the international market leader and is used by the best coaches and players in the world, including Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Rose and Phil Kenyon. With "PuttView X", we have also launched the world's first AR sports application for the Microsoft HoloLens.
We are looking for a motivated Working Student (m/f/d) in Quality Assurance to support our software development team in Hamburg. If you are eager to learn, have an eye for detail, and want to help us deliver the best possible product quality, this role is for you
What you will do
* Support our software team by testing new and existing features of our products
* Create, refine, and execute test cases for various software components
* Help establish a framework for systematic testing processes and documentation
* Identify, track, and report bugs or performance issues to the development team
* Assist with research tasks related to QA best practices and innovative testing tools
* Contribute to improving team efficiency through structured quality assurance workflows
What you will bring
* You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* Strong interest in software testing, quality assurance, and development processes
* A detail-oriented mindset and structured way of working
* Basic understanding of software development lifecycles
* Proficiency in English (German is a plus but not required)
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Optional qualifications
* First practical experience with QA, testing frameworks, or bug-tracking tools
* Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)
* Familiarity with agile development methods and workflows (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
* A knowledge of and interest in golf
