Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? ® Vishay Electronic GmbH in Selb is currently seeking applicants for a Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) Business Development Automotive.
This job can be done from our locations in Selb or Heilbronn or 100% remote.
What you will be doing:
1. Design IN und WIN of Vishay Semiconductors and passive Components at our focus automotive customers
2. Maximize the future business of all Vishay components by identifying all potential sockets in applications and leveraging the BOM content of Vishay broadline portfolio
3. Define new products and derivatives in close cooperation with Marketing and R&D
4. Act as internal technical interface between Sales, Marketing and R&D
5. Manage projects in cooperation with Sales and Marketing to achieve product qualification and revenue
6. Prepare and perform technical and application trainings
What you will bring along:
7. Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies
8. Experience in semiconductor and/or passive component technology
9. HW design experience appreciated
10. Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
11. Ability to work independently
12. MS Office skills
13. Excellent German and English, other language skills as a plus
14. Willingness to travel in Germany and Europe
