Today, we’re a team of nearly 500 people, including 150 engineers, working from Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Berlin.Your role as a Head of Front-EndAs Head of Frontend at Ageras, you’ll be the glue, compass, and captain steering all things frontend across our evolving SaaS universe. You’ll lead the charge in unifying how we build web and mobile apps across the organization, manage a small but mighty team of frontend specialists, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define standards, advocate best practices, and consolidate our frontend stack into a modern, cohesive architecture. This role owns the frontend strategy for a multi-product SaaS company, leads the consolidation toward a single shared web frontend and a unified mobile app (or modular foundation), and improves developer experience, code reuse, and release velocity across the company.ResponsibilitiesDefine and evolve Ageras’ frontend architecture vision—web and mobile—with emphasis on shared codebases, reusability, and developer productivity.Build and execute a plan to consolidate acquired SaaS frontends into:A single web frontend framework powered by shared design systems and components.A unified mobile app architecture (or shared mobile codebase), likely using Expo + React Native.Collaborate with leadership and marketing on branding-related decisions about separate mobile apps while sharing a common technical foundation.Advocate for developer-friendly practices, tooling, and CI/CD workflows that reduce cognitive load and encourage contributions from fullstack developers.Technical OversightOwn the frontend platform stack and tooling — Storybook libraries, bundlers, test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and monorepo structures.Collaborate with product teams to gather feedback and provide technical guidance that aligns with unified architecture and design standards.Ensure mobile development is accessible alongside web, via abstraction of native complexities, use of tools like Expo, and automation of testing and release processes.Manage, mentor, and support a small team of frontend platform engineers.Partner with product engineering teams to enable adoption of shared components and standards.Drive knowledge-sharing across frontend developers through chapter meetings, documentation, and hands-on support.Collaborate with the Architecture Forum to align frontend strategies with backend and platform evolution.Work with design to build and co-own a scalable Design System.Proven experience leading frontend teams or projects, ideally in a SaaS or platform setting.Deep knowledge of React (web + native) and strong understanding of mobile development pipelines.Experience with Expo, EAS, React Native CLI, and mobile CI/CD pipelines.Passion for developer experience, tooling, documentation and knowledge sharing.Strong communication skills to define standards and influence engineers across teams.Strategic thinking to balance long-term platform needs with current delivery pressures.Nice to haveExperience managing multi-brand frontend architectures.Knowledge of monorepo tools (e.g., Turborepo, Nx) and design systems (e.g., Storybook, Figma integration).Previous exposure to merger or post-acquisition technical consolidation.What Success Looks LikeAgeras frontend developers can contribute seamlessly across web and mobile products.Mobile builds and updates are automated and painless via EAS, CI, and shared tooling.We operate with a shared component library used across products, reducing duplication and increasing speed.Release cycles shrink and product teams focus on features, not outdated toolchains.We support a monorepo architecture with shared logic, UI, and bounded contexts (@ageras/app-invoice, @ageras/app-banking, etc.).Developers share a common vision for delivering great UI to Ageras customers.Designers are confident that what they’re building closely reflects the final production result.Job locationJob located in Copenhagen, Paris, Berlin, Gdansk, Amsterdam with the possibility of two remote working days per week.Interview processA 30-minute call with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to get to know you and share more about Ageras’ culture and mission.A 60-minute call with the Manager to dive into your technical experience, career aspirations, and vision for this role.A 60-minute tech exercise and case presentation with team members to evaluate practical skills.A 60-minute soft skills interview based on the personality assessment to see how we can best support your growth at Ageras.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
