About the role
In this position, you will lead business critical / strategic product development projects in international context with multiple technical and non-technical challenges, end-to-end responsibility from Project Start until Product Release incl Industrialization, large variety of available projects and diversification of task (introduction of new process technologies, new packages, co-operation with 3rd parties.

1. Accountable to achieve defined project results
2. Accountable for execution of complex multi-site R&D projects according to the agreed project plan and within agreed boundaries (Specification, quality, timing, costs, information / reporting and organization)
3. Accountable that relevant quality standards for own projects are defined and met, and to monitor & control execution of own projects
4. Accountable to define competencies and resources needed and build up a performing project team. Take team leadership including operational guidance and conflict management
5. Responsible to define the overall project plan in consultation / agreement with all relevant management levels and stakeholders within Nexperia organization up to Executive Management Level (EMT)
6. Responsible to exercise judgement on the project set-up, competitive timelines, budget, efficient execution, changes and risks, challenges decisions on process, procedures, method and technology to be used in the project
7. Responsible to manage all requested changes and establish change management process
8. Responsible to analyze project risks (w. r. t. specifications, costs, timing, etc.) and develop & incorporate scenarios to overcome these risks
9. Responsible to actively drive improvements in project execution to achieve agreed business targets
What you will need
10. University degree in a technical discipline
11. Minimum 5 years proven track record in leading complex projects for product development within an international & technical business environment, depending on educational credentials
12. Experience within Semiconductors is a benefit (Knowledge of semiconductor processes and packages)
13. Expert in Project Management with excellent knowledge in state-of-the-art project management tools and their application
14. PMI certification or similar is a clear benefit
15. Proven leadership skills in leading project teams in a global, intercultural environment
16. Excellent stakeholder management skills
17. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. German skills are a plus
