Overview
We’re looking for a Finance Consultant with a strong background in core finance and accounting to join a leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from industry or an in-house finance background (for example: Financial Controller, Accountant, or Finance Business Partner) who is looking to move into ERP consulting and develop their expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) or AX 2012.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with clients to understand their finance processes, requirements, and business objectives.
* Support the design, configuration, and delivery of D365 Finance or AX 2012 solutions.
* Translate finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Project Accounting, etc.) into system functionality.
* Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and go-live support.
* Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
* Participate in workshops, testing, and process improvements.
Ideal Background
* Strong finance knowledge and practical experience in:
* General Ledger
* Accounts Payable / Receivable
* Fixed Assets
* Budgeting & Forecasting
* Financial Reporting
* Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance preferred, but not essential).
* Background in finance, accounting, or controlling—either in-house or industry-side.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Desire to transition into a consulting environment and grow within the Microsoft ecosystem.
