About the Role As a (Senior) Solution Data Architect you will design and govern enterprise‑level data architectures that support scalable, secure, and future‑ready analytics and data‑driven products. You will act as a trusted in‑house consultant, shaping both batch and real‑time data ecosystems while mentoring teams and collaborating across business, governance, and engineering functions. What You’ll Do Design enterprise‑scale data architectures ensuring scalability, interoperability, governance, and traceability across batch and real‑time data‑processing ecosystems Architect and oversee streaming and event‑driven data pipelines, leveraging technologies such as Apache Kafka / Kafka‑compatible services alongside modern cloud data platforms Lead data‑modelling workshops ; define and maintain standards for conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including enterprise party models and/or Data Vault Create and maintain data‑architecture documentation, blueprints, reference architectures, and target‑state designs Establish and govern enterprise data‑quality, lineage, and metadata standards, working closely with security, legal, and compliance teams to embed robust access control and privacy‑by‑design Provide architectural oversight for data ingestion, integration, transformation, and curation workflows, ensuring support for federated ownership, discoverability, and policy enforcement Guide the adoption of modern analytics platforms, including Azure Databricks, to enable scalable data engineering, analytics, and AI use cases Mentor and coach Architects and Data Engineers, raising overall data literacy and architecture maturity Evaluate and influence adoption of emerging trends in data management, governance automation, semantic modelling, and data‑product platforms Operate effectively within Agile / SAFe and data‑product operating models, aligning architecture with iterative delivery and business outcomes This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of two days per week on‑site. Who You Are Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Several years of enterprise experience in data architecture, data modelling, or data‑engineering leadership Strong expertise in data integration, modelling, and lifecycle management, with a proven ability to define and enforce data‑architecture standards in federated environments Hands‑on or architectural experience designing enterprise‑scale batch and streaming data solutions Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka, event streaming, or real‑time data ingestion patterns Experience with cloud‑native analytics platforms, ideally Azure Databricks, including large‑scale data processing and analytics workloads Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, lineage, metadata, and data‑catalogue concepts Familiarity with data policies, classification models, and access‑control frameworks in regulated environments Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills, able to translate complex architecture topics for both technical and business audiences Experience working in Agile, SAFe, or Microsoft‑centric Agile delivery environments Fluent English is mandatory for this role.
