We’re seeking a passionate bioinformatician to drive innovation in cancer vaccine research. In this role, you’ll develop cutting-edge bioinformatics pipelines to uncover novel antigen categories, with a strong emphasis on integrating transcriptomic data (RNA-seq). You’ll design, test, and optimize computational tools, streamline workflows to accelerate research, and refine strategies for efficient data processing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance research in cancer immunotherapy. As part of the Tailored Omics team within Bioinformatics R&D, you’ll work alongside a talented group of bioinformaticians, mathematicians, and computational biologists. Your main responsiblities are:
* Perform tailored transcriptomic analyses on large cancer cohorts, such as those from TCGA
* Conduct statistical analyses, create visualizations, and generate comprehensive scientific reports to support research findings
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals
* Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control processes and maintain well-documented and reproducible scripts
What you have to offer:
* A PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
* Proven experience in transcriptomic analyses and the development of bioinformatics pipelines
* Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments, as well as strong programming skills in Shell scripting, R, and/or Python
* Experience in cancer genomics is a plus but not required
