Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You will work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team and benefit of a flexible and modern way of working. The work location can be in Berlin/Henningsdorf/Braunschweig or Salzgitter. We also can offer other sites in Germany.
We'll look for you to:
1. Ensure application of Contract, Claims and Insurance Management
2. Actively Contribute to preparation Contract Summary and ensure it is widely communicated and regularly updated.
3. Support organization of the Contract Management Day with the Core Project Team
4. Analyze the contract to build and drive implementation of Contract/Claim Management, as well as keep it updated with project team on quarterly basis.
5. Monitor Works toward contract obligations, including monitoring of project schedule toward achieving contractual milestones.
6. Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices to customers/partners.
7. Contribute to establishment and implementation of project specific commercial procedures, particularly regarding correspondences, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders and claims preparation files.
8. In collaboration with Documentation Controller and/or Contract Administrator, ensure a reliable filing and easy access of correspondence from and to customers/partners.
9. Follow-up correspondence by analyzing (for and with Project Manager) incoming and outgoing correspondence to customers/partners.
10. Collaborate with Regional Insurance Manager. Keeps the Regional Insurance Manager duly updated regarding all changes that could represent any deviation of the reaching of insurance policy.
11. Develop and produce any project specific processes and ways of working for contract/claim management.
12. Develop a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis of the project, to protect, on a daily basis, Alstom interests toward customers and partners.
13. Carefully monitor, record, and notify customer/partners regarding claims/counterclaims and prepare and manages all elements and supporting documentation for claims/counterclaims negotiations.
14. Follows-u customer/partner requests for variations / change orders / extensions of time. Provide follow-up, as necessary, to drive to transactional closure, including updates to the VO/VR/Delay registers, preparation of commercial offer, and prepare associated contractual letters.
