We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who will be based in our Munich Unterföhring offices. This is a one-year contract from January to December 2026.

Allianz Risk Consulting (ARC) is a global team of risk engineers at Allianz Commercial and the ARC Core Applications team provides applications to support our engineers' operations and services. You will join a vibrant team of application business owners in ARC, working in a supportive and collaborative environment where every member can thrive.
The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Head of ARC Core Applications and based in Munich, your role ensures the successful delivery of IT projects in a complex and global landscape. You will help steer a range of IT projects and drive transformations across these applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining transparency and accountability through regular reporting on compliance to Allianz's standards.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
* Manage cross-functional IT projects and workstreams independently focussing on timely delivery
* Take ownership of select transformation topics in the team, in collaboration with the Head of ARC Core Applications
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective change management and enhance user adoption of ARC core applications
* Manage vendor relationships and track the progress of projects being implemented by them
* Manage security processes including ISO certification, user access reviews (UAR), privacy/data protection assessments (PIA/PEIA/BIA), Archer reporting, cloud assessments, and AI governance (including Gen AI Registry)
* Ensure regulatory compliance with standards like DORA, GDPR, VAIT, and BaFin requirements through application registration, architecture documentation (ADOIT), maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), and conducting required audits
What You'll Bring to the Role
Ideally you bring a previous experience in IT project management, a good understanding of IT security & compliance protocols, and familiarity with Allianz's compliance standards.
You are available for a one-year contract from January to December 2026 based in Munich.
* A proven experience in delivery of technology integration projects as a project manager
* Expertise in IT governance, compliance and risk frameworks
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and manage stakeholder relations
* Self motivated and able to work independently addressing topics proactively
* Familiarity with Allianz's security and compliance policies is highly desirable
* A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
